From the early years as a child, Steven developed an interest and love for the sound and
looks of the saxophone. Especially the tenor, one of the well-known brothers besides alto,
soprano and baritone saxophone.

Starting his study at the Jazz Department at the Conservatory in Rotterdam, made him a
well-crafted professional in improvising on this beautiful instrument. The love for good
music made him curious about how sound works and developed a growing interest in
Sound & Audio Engineering.

Nowadays Steven has combined the love for electronic dance music and live music into one
product. Playing with heart on deep house and funky house is what he loves most and does best.

As a teacher, Steven started giving lessons and workshops in 2009, working with his students
on all facets of being a musician: playing Jazz & Pop songs by using musical notation, rhythm
exercises, developing sound, ear training and improvising.

In 2010 Steven invested in Studio materials for having several request, recording all kinds
of instruments and vocals for different projects. By example you can hear saxophone and
vocals on several tracks on the album Life Story (2012) by Double G and you can hear his voice
on U Don’t Know by Bregje Sanne Lacourt from the album The Keeper of Changing Winds (2014).
